A Special Thanks!

We have just realized that one of our first donors has yet to be formally thanked by us! Widby Labels out of Tennessee heard about Cases For Cheer, Inc. through the power of the internet! At the time they heard about us, they jumped to get involved!

Don Widby of Widby Labels created and donated the labels which are now sewn with love into each pillowcase reminding the recipient that people out there care as well as sharing the memory of our Aunt Willie.

We know many of you out there sew and we just really wanted to share Mr. Widby's generosity. When looking to get labels made for your projects please check out Widby Labels and support a company that supports Cases For Cheer!

July Sewing Class

Come one, come all volunteers to sew! Cases For Cheer, Inc. is holding another sewing class/circle to get some pillowcases made! Fabric kits will be provided, please bring your own machine and tools if possible (we have two spares if not). We look forward to meeting those who are new, and hopefully seeing some familiar faces as well!

Thank you all so much for your help in making Cases For Cheer, Inc. possible, from the thought of a child, to a reality benefiting now hundreds of cancer patients!

God Bless!

We Couldn't Have Done It Without...

Please check out our newest page! This page highlights the local businesses which have been so important in helping us get the word out, increase our sewing circle, publicize and highlighting Cases! Thank you so much! Please check out this page, and when you need anything, help support those that have supported us! Woo Hoo!!!

HUGE Thank YOU!!!

We want to thank everyone who donated to make our yard sale a success!!! We were able to raise the funds to purchase more fabric! Woo Hoo!!! All items not sold were donated to the American Cancer Society Thrift Store in Elk Grove! We figured it was the most appropriate place to help those with cancer!

Also we made our June delivery and were able to take 40 pillowcases this month!!! That is double our previous deliveries and we hope to make 50 next month!!! We split it up to donate 20 to both the adult and pediatric cancer centers. If we can get our cases finished we can make it 25!

Any seamstresses interested in volunteering their skills are welcome to join us! Just send us an email or give us a call!

HUGE Fundraising Garage Sale June 12th

A friend of Cases For Cheer, Inc. a local non-profit, is holding a fundraising garage sale. This sale will be HUGE!!! We have been fortunate enough to receive donations of items from so many people in the community it has been overwhelming!!! Some item categories are baby and children's toys, clothes, and gear, adult clothing and shoes (many of which are top brands), kitchen and household equipment and decore, hardware items, and much, much, more. Please come support Cases For Cheer, which was started by a 10 year old girl who wanted to make the lives of cancer patients a little happier.

UC Davis Survivors Picnic

What a wonderful event!!! UC Davis Cancer Center holds a survivor's picnic every year. This year CFC was invited to come to lunch and host a table where we were able to share CFC with the patients and staff!!! How exciting!!! Becky Garrett and her friend were our spokeswomen for this event and made some very exciting connections!!!

We were very happy to hear that patients understood what we were trying to accomplish with Madison's vision and they really believed that these cases can make a difference in the spirits of those fighting cancer. We are thrilled!!!

CFC was invited to join a health fair in September, more details to follow, and also a local media personality took an interest and we hope to announce soon an interview and opportunity to share CFC with the viewers!

We want to thank Patti Robinson with UC Davis for inviting us to join the picnic, and allowing us to share CFC.
